Jennifer Hansen

Role at the SALT Center: As a Student Support Specialist, I work with students to help create their Individualized Learning Plan (ILP) by collaboratively developing goals for success, incorporating academic strategies, and providing students with guidance and encouragement throughout their university experience.

Education: The University of Arizona, B.S., Business Administration, Marketing; Northern Arizona University, M.Ed, Human Relations

Hometown: I was born in the Midwest (Columbus, OH) and grew up in Tucson. After graduating from the University of Arizona, I had the privilege of living in various locations around the country due to military transfers. I am happy to be back in the desert southwest and consider Tucson my hometown.

Activities/Interests: I enjoy day trips and discovering interesting places to visit in the area. The perfect day would consist of exploring “off the beaten path”, and finding something remarkable such as an antique store, bookstore, or café. I love spending time with my family and friends, taking my dog for long walks, and baking (especially desserts).
